Born in Sydney and moving to a rural country town shortly thereafter, Kylie has always been exposed to a natural lifestyle growing up. From eating an array of fruits and vegetables from the family garden, riding her bike to school daily and doing gymnastics every weekend, Kylie developed a solid understanding of a healthy, balanced lifestyle.
After some extensive travel throughout South East Asia in her mid 20's and experiencing massages there on a daily basis, Kylie began to connect with the philosophy of natural therapies and understand the body's need for touch in relation to physical and emotional well-being. It was here that her passion to become a Massage Therapist unfolded.
In 2004 Kylie attended the Australasian College of Natural Therapies where she gained her Certificate IV in Massage and Certificate I in Trigger Point Therapy and during this time as a student, worked for a well-know Chiropractor in Bondi Junction as an Assistant. Here she started to gain hands on experience with the body, specific injuries and deep tissue techniques. Kylie's massage style started to develop towards postural correction and alignment, muscular length and mobility and improving sports performance and movement.
Kylie was also curious about the mind-body connection and its effect on the physical body and decided to study Myofascial Release I,II and Cranio-Sacral Therapy I,II in 2005 & 2010. She often uses this powerful tool in her box when it comes to treatments and has seen many Clients gain huge benefits in combination with her Remedial Massage techniques.
Kylie has since gone on to do her Diploma of Remedial Massage 2008 (NSW School of Massage, Sydney), Dry Needling I,II and Cupping in 2013 & 2017 (Precise Points, Sydney) and attended an intensive 3 day course specialising in Head, Neck and Whiplash injuries 2015 (Advanced Trainings, Oregon USA), among other short courses. She is excited to be embarking on another course in Oregon this year (2017) which looks at the Pelvis, Sciatica and lower back issues.
During a treatment, Kylie has a high ability to read the body and what it needs. With an excellent knowledge of anatomy & techniques and listening to her clients concerns, a very personalised treatment will be given using a number of different modalities.
What is it you are looking to achieve in your body? Find that stress is affecting your muscular system and mood? Trying to recover from an old or new injury but there is just something that won't shift? Or perhaps all is well and you'd just like to stay as healthy and mobile as you can be. With regular treatments, Kylie can help you feel your best, get you back on track with your physical goals and make your body move and feel the way it should.
Born in Brazil, Roberta became a professional athlete in high school where she played indoor volleyball in Sao Paulo for 5 years. This laid the foundation for her passion in body biomechanics and wellbeing.
Roberta graduated in 1991 with a Diploma in Physical Education and continued on to provide her services for schools and gymnasiums. During this time she also worked alongside Allied Health Professionals to provide personal training for their clients.
In 1998, Roberta relocated to Sydney to improve her English skills and later had the opportunity to be a volunteer for the 2000 Olympic games as a Language Translator. Roberta had the pleasure of meeting some of the best Sports Massage Therapists and Physiotherapists in the industry and had the chance to work on top athletes and gain hands on experience during her studies.
Roberta graduated in 2001 with a Diploma of Remedial Massage at the Australasian College of Natural Therapies. Her curiosity of the body steered
her towards further education, achieving throughout the years a Certificate in Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Advanced Certificate in Shiatsu, Certificate in Facial Acupressure, Advanced Certificate in Nutritional Sciences and a Certificate III & IV in Health and Fitness with the NSW Tafe.
Roberta’s high communication skills, training and understanding of her clients needs enables her to analyse anatomic problems and help unwind restrictions. Roberta also offers post treatment advice and stretches to help her clients maintain optimal results between massages.
Jen moved to Australia from England in 2009. She has always been interested in fitness whilst growing up, being inspired by her Dad and their shared love of running together. Being raised with these fitness principles eventually led Jen into a career in Health & Fitness.
Jen studied a Certificate in Fitness III & IV in 2013 and gained valuable experience training the human body. Jen has a high understanding of movement and its affect on range of motion, daily activities and sports in relation to optimal performance and strength. She has since gone on to study specialised courses through the C.H.E.K institute in Scientific Back and Core training and Level I Boxing. She is also qualified in Pilates mat work.
As Jen loves helping her clients in specialised areas of injury and rehab, she wanted to be able to offer another level of remedial care. This eventually progressed her into the next stage of studying massage therapy.
Jen studied a Diploma of Remedial Massage in 2016 and has since been working as a Sports Massage Therapist for various NRL, AFL and cricket teams around Sydney. She loves working with professional athletes and her colleagues and finds this a perfect way to enhance her techniques and experience.
Since the start of her massage career, Jen is focused on Deep Tissue Massage and Trigger Point Therapy techniques, being particularly keen on helping clients that are in pain and have restricted range of motion. She aims to get clients back to full functionality by addressing the cause of the pain during treatment and in addition, prescribing stretches and exercises for home-care.
Jen looks forward to studying Dry Needling and Cupping in the future.
"I’ve now received treatment from Kylie, Jen and Roberta and each treatment has been wonderful. Each Therapist has a great ability to find the niggle points and it’s a lovely, welcoming space."
