Myofascial Release

Myofascial Release is the technique of stretching out the fascia of the body. The fascia refers to the covering or lining of tissue on the outside of muscles and joints. By using slow, direct pressure to the affected area, length is created, freeing up the muscle underneath. This technique is recommended for clients who experience an inability to stretch deeply, feel burning, gritty sensations in the skin or who use certain muscles repeatedly (repetitive stress injury).
